If you’ve ever been to one of those big box stores that puts out free samples and has people handing you bits of sausage and sugarcoated treats then you’ve experienced what it means to be offered something for free in order for you to be coerced into purchasing that thing. It’s pretty rare that the sausage or the treat is good for you or of value. And more than likely the store bought that substandard food in bulk in order to make a buck off of you. And how many times did you watch your mom buy that sausage or that sugarcoated treat? Now you got crap food in your house and in your body.
Alternatively, did you ever go to the mechanic because you’ve got a noise going on with your car and said, “I think it’s the belt can you give me one for free and I’ll test it out and then I’ll come back and I’ll pay you for it if that’s really the problem?” You can see the mechanic laughing at you right? That’s because you don’t get tuneups for free. Tuneups don’t come for free because there is equipment involved, there is experience involved, and there is labor involved.
I’d encourage you to think about your tarot readings the same way. Do you want a tarot reading that is substandard and full of very little value? Or would you rather go to a reader that has the deck that speaks to them, has had the experience of doing multiple readings before you, and has put in the time to be prepared for the moment that you’re sitting in front of them, ready to help you solve your problem and get you back out in the world?
VALUE IS GREATER THAN WHAT I EXPECTED
Just like any other purchase we make we’re always looking for the best deal. And if you’re not sure if you’re getting the best deal when you’re choosing to purchase a tarot reading, you’re probably not. I always recommend to get to know the tarot reader that you are thinking about purchasing a reading from first. You can find out more about that by looking up how to choose the best tarot reader for you.
Cyber-stalk the reader. Find them when they’re doing live posts. Interact with them during those live sessions so that you get a feel about who they are and how the two of you respond to each other. You may even find that they do free or discounted readings where you can get a “try before you buy” type of feel.
Perceived value is in your hands. I would rather have you send me a ton of DM’s or do a live video chat with me via Skype or FaceTime to get to know me better than have you purchase a reading and be disappointed. And you can almost always find me live on Periscope on Friday nights at 6 PM CST.

REFUNDS, VALUE, & GOOD READERS
REFUNDS
So let’s talk about refunds. We’ll get it all out the open. At a time when you can take back almost anything and exchange it or get your money back, refunds for tarot reading is simple. I’ve laid out my policy in my store. If you purchase a reading for me and you know you aren’t going to make that appointment you can get a refund if you cancel within seven days before the scheduled time. That means I have time to re-book the timeslot that you had. If you cancel with less than seven days more than likely I’m not going to be able to refill the slot. So your payment is forfeit.
If you’re not happy with your reading then we can certainly talk about if the refund is necessary. If you’re not happy with your reading because you don’t like the outcome of the reading then that’s not a valid reason for a refund. You received the insight you were looking for. A reading is meant to give you clarity on where your life is, where it’s headed, and what you can do to move in the direction that you’d like to go. If you’re not happy with your reading because we just didn’t get along then I’m happy to talk about how to refund your money and move on with both of our lives.
