Know Your Passion or My Friends Say I’m a Great Organizer

tarot, know your passion, passion, tarot reading, books, faces, comingouttarot, tarot reading

Imagine a world where you get to do what you are good at every day. Picture yourself thriving as you love your day. You no longer go to work. You no longer have a stressful job. You just get to do what you love every day. And get paid for doing it. Well, what is that elusive thing? What is that unidentified holy grail that others call passion? I think it’s what everyone else says you’re good at doing. I think others know your passion.

What Do Your Friends/Co-Workers Say You’re Good At?

What do your friends or co-workers say you’re good at? Are they always complimenting your math skills? Or your design acumen? Or your style? These are indicators of your passions: math or finances (different!), design, fashion, etc.

If you don’t know or just can’t imagine what you’re good at, go ask five of your friends and five of your co-workers.

Maybe you hear things like: I can always count on you, you’re always so punctual, I wish I could keep on top of everything like you do. These are indicators of skills.  Keep your ear tuned for these compliments.

Do Others Know Your Passion?

If you don’t know or just can’t imagine what you’re good at, go ask five of your friends and five of your co-workers.

Questions

  • If you had to ask me for help, what situations would make you think to turn to me? Why?
  • Share two to three memories you have of us together.
  • Can you describe me in three words?
  • Or just ask them point blank: What do you think I’m good at?

Bonus Question

I have always figured out solutions to problems in order to reach my goals. When I was 4 or 5 I knew which cupboard the cookies were kept in. If I wanted a cookie I opened drawers in the kitchen to use as a ladder to get on the counter to reach the cupboard.

I enlisted by twin sister to bring the hose and lawn sprinkler into the house to play in it when it was too cold outside. She cued me and I turned that water on.

  • Ask your parents what your primary traits have been since you were a baby.

In the end, you probably already know what you’re natural tendencies (translation: skills, passions) are but you may not be aware of them. Talking to others should provide you a baseline to work from as you work through this new discovery!

What Do My Friends/Co-Workers Say I’m Good At?

I am often told, “I wish you could project manage my life”

When I’m at work I manage multiple teams and projects all day. I love getting a plan together. I love scheduling status updates. I love being in the status update meeting. Why? (Because I’m in the room where it happens. Are you singing Ham fans?) Because we’re solving a problem and meeting a need of the organization. Every effort is about leaving a messy space in better condition than when we found it.

Tarot is how I help others take control of their lives

I’ll never be able to manage your life for you. Let’s be honest.  Only you can handle that role. But I will be able to provide you guidance. I can provide action items that give you a plan. I can uncover hidden blocks that hinder your success. I can help you take your next step to achieve your goals.

Let’s identify your skills, interests, and personal desires so we can show how your passion can be impactful.

So let me know what passions you’ve discovered about yourself. Drop me a line @comingouttarot. I’d love to hear how many different passions there are out there.

And if the questions above don’t help you define your passion, maybe it’s time for a Tarot reading. I have a great spread that can help identify what you think, say, feel, and want from your passion. I’m building another that will help you identify your skills, interests, and personal desires so we can show how your passion can be impactfulShoot me a message if you’d like to know more.
